1 review for Sequoia

I purchased a Sequoia bow a year and a half ago. Despite some comments regarding de-lamination I had seen on some blogs, I liked the one I tried out at a sporting goods store enough to give it a shot (no pun intended). At this writing, I have put well over 1,000 arrows (aluminum and wood) down-range and am as happy with the performance as the day I bought it. Zero hand shock. Quiet. Fires arrows with authority and consistency. I replaced the leather hand wrap with tennis racket grip tape to achieve a more consistent grip. As to so-called “issues” with de-lamination of the limbs. here is my take. Every one of the posts I read had these things in common. “Newbies” not using a bow stringer. Drawing over 28″ (30″ was reported average). I suspect the problems had more to do with improper brace height and overall tuning. Maybe I just got lucky. All I know is that it’s a lot of bow for the money.
