Strong Finish for Team PSE in ASA Season Opener

Gainesville, Florida is the annual kickoff party for the Archery Shooters Association Pro-Am Tour. In Gainesville, the archer's usually find themselves facing a variety of weather conditions along with an awkward competitiveness that almost rivals a pre-season football game. This year's weather proved to be almost perfect and the PSE pro staff found themselves very much in mid-season form. PSE pro staffer Adam Hayden showed everyone that he and his Mossy Oak X meant business by leading the pack with a 212 after Saturday. Team PSE archer's Brian Jones and Chance Beaubouef were close behind with 210's. At the conclusion of Sunday's competition, Brian Jones found himself at the top of the leader board with a very impressive 424. Jones shot well through the Pressure Point Shootoff round and found himself in a three-way tie after the 5 target shootoff. Brian matched his competitors scoring a 10 to remain tied on the 6 th shot. On the 7 th arrow Brian was forced to shoot for the 14 to remain tied, but very narrowly missed for an 8 putting him in 2 nd place. Adam Hayden continued his strong first day performance finishing in 8 th place, while PSE pro staffers Eric Griggs, Nathan Brooks and Lester Hall, shooting their Money Makers all shot strong Sunday finishing in 13 th , 17 th and 20 th places respectively.
