I grew up in Michigan and started chasing whitetails with a bow 30 plus years ago. I arrowed an 8 point that first year from a make shift ground blind, and an old Bear bow. Needless to say that archery hunt lit a fire in my soul that will last a life time! In the first 10 years I shot PSE, Hoyt, Darton, and Bear bows. The next 15 years I hunted with longbows and recurves out west taking several record class animals. Then in 2002, I drew a Nevada desert bighorn sheep tag, a Nevada antelope tag, a Idaho Mtn goat tag, and also had an Alaska grizzly hunt booked. It was at that point I decided if I wanted to take all 4 animals I had better start shooting a compound again. That fall I did just that and arrowed all 4 animals, 1 B&C and 3 P&Y class animals with a compound. Since that time, in the last 5 years I became the 24th bowhunter to complete the Archery Grand Slam of North American Wild Sheep in 2006 and also in the last 5 years I arrowed 16 record class animals. Over this same time period though, I have struggled trying to find a bow that truly fits, I tried all the top competitors bows and was never completely satisfied until a good friend, Dyrk Eddy, sent me a PSE X-Force to try this past July. Dyrk said, “Tony try it- if you don’t like it send it back to me”. I was a little nervous about changing bows in the middle of the season, but I could not believe the difference the PSE X-Force has made in my shooting and confidence. The balance and fit is perfect, the kinetic energy is amazing. It’s truly the most forgiving, consistent, smoothest, quietest and dependable shooting bow I have ever had in my hands in 30 plus years.
Thank you Pete, John and all the PSE Staff.
